Software that does one thing well.
Terminus City Technology is an independent software company in Georgia, United States. We design and build native apps for Apple platforms.
What we do
We build small, focused products for the home. Each one has a single job, opens ready to use, and stays out of the way. We prefer more design up front and fewer moving parts: every feature has to justify the complexity it adds, and when in doubt we leave it out.
- Native first. Our apps are written in Swift and SwiftUI and follow Apple's platform conventions rather than inventing their own. Dark Mode, Dynamic Type, VoiceOver and Switch Control are requirements, not extras.
- No accounts by default. A product should work the first time with only the permissions it genuinely needs. Anything that needs an account is an optional improvement, never a gate.
- Private by design. We collect only anonymous, aggregate usage and crash data so we can find failures. We do not track people, show ads, or sell data. Our privacy policy says exactly what leaves the device.
- Tested. Logic that can be unit tested is unit tested, and every change lands through automated tests before it ships.
Products
Holler
A push-to-talk intercom for your home speakers. Hold one button, speak, and your voice plays on a Sonos, AirPlay, Google Cast or Bluetooth speaker in another room. No account, no setup beyond choosing a speaker. Holler is in development for iPhone and will be released on the App Store.
How we work
Each product starts as a written design record that states the decision, the reasons, and what is deliberately left out, before any code is written. Those records stay with the code and are updated as we learn from real use. We measure what we claim: when a design depends on a number we have not yet measured, the record says so until we have.
